Job Description

As a front-line customer facing representative for the OMNI sales team, your role is to pursue and develop new business opportunities in the New England area while maintaining relationships with current customers. Utilizing excellent communications skills to grow relationships, by empathizing, advising and advocating for customer’s needs. Building trust with the customer is key to the success of the relationship and OMNI’s business.

 

Responsibilities: Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager this position will entail the following:

  • Sales of control panel solutions, including engineering services, electromechanical assemblies, and cable / harnesses.
  • Develop individualized solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Solid understanding of distribution and manufacturing channels.
  • Managing customer expectations and precisely outlining client needs to the OMNI team.
  • Synchronizing efforts with the inside sales team to satisfy customer demands.
  • Delivering progress and goal reports for accounts to team members and company leadership.
  • Assisting in the development of quotes.
  • Pinpointing opportunities and planning strategies to grow the business and reach new customers.
  • Resolving customer issues while supporting company goals and objectives.
  • Creating technical presentations on our products and services to fulfil customer requests.
  • Promoting Omni by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events.
  • Operate in an ethical professional manner, attend scheduled meetings, proficiently utilize OMNI systems, meet administrative deadlines, and appropriately use company assets to the maximum benefit

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, marketing or technology is preferred. Relevant experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in sales, management, account management, or relevant experience preferred.
  • Superior written and verbal communication, along with strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on superior Excel skills.
  • Dedicated to customer service excellence, with a talent for relationship building and maintenance.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a focus on achieving win-win outcomes.
  • Demonstrate capability in delivering personalized solutions and achieving sales quotas.
