Project Manager Job Description:
As a front-line customer facing representative for the OMNI sales team, the Project Manager combines technical expertise with sales acumen to deliver solutions that meet customer demands. You will be responsible for understanding technical requirements, collaborating with internal teams, and guiding the project execution from initiation to successful completion.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects within scope, schedule, and budget parameters using methodologies.
- Develop comprehensive project plans including scope management, risk assessment, resource allocation, and scheduling. (Using tools like Microsoft Project or equivalent.)
- Managing customer expectations and precisely outlining client needs to the OMNI team.
- Synchronizing efforts with the inside sales team to satisfy customer demands.
- Delivering progress and goal reports for accounts to team members, company leadership as well as end customers.
- Effectively apply our methodology through the course of a project to assure compliance with the established goals and objectives.
- Assisting in the development of quotes.
- Provide technical support to the sales team, while assisting operations and engineering with project execution to maintain deadlines, assure profitability while achieving maximum customer satisfaction.
- Resolving customer issues while supporting company goals and objectives.
- Managing multiple projects with concurrent deadlines while being attentive to the potential risk aspects.
- Creating technical presentations on our products and services to fulfil customer requests.
- Assist in root cause analysis to identify issues impacting project performance and implement corrective actions utilizing Lean Six Sigma principles.
- Operate in an ethical professional manner, attend scheduled meetings, proficiently utilize. OMNI systems, meet administrative deadlines, and appropriately use company assets to the maximum benefit.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or technology is preferred. Relevant experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in technical sales, management, project management, or relevant experience preferred.
- Superior written and verbal communication, along with strong interpersonal skills
- Experience with CRM software, and Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on superior Excel skills and project management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Dedicated to customer service excellence, with a talent for relationship building and maintenance.
